Frequently asked questions

  • We understand that life is constantly evolving, and we believe your membership should be as flexible as your needs. That's why we're proud to offer all our weekly memberships with no lock-in contracts. If you ever need to cancel, simply provide us with 2 weeks' notice from the date of your cancellation request, and we'll take care of the rest.

  • While we do accept walk-ins, we highly encourage you to book your visit online to ensure there’s availability and to avoid arriving during a private group booking or peak times when the centre may be full.

Booking in advance also helps us ensure that the centre is prepared and all equipment is ready for your arrival.

For our members, booking is required to guarantee access to the recovery areas. However, our co-working space is always fully accessible, whether you’ve booked a recovery session or not.

  • Contrast therapy involves alternating between the intense heat of a sauna and the cold shock of an ice bath. This combination has a range of benefits, from boosting circulation and reducing muscle soreness to improving recovery times and reducing inflammation. The heat from the sauna opens up your blood vessels, while the ice bath constricts them, helping flush out toxins and increase blood flow to muscles and tissues. Doing both together enhances your body’s ability to recover faster, feel revitalised, and push your limits with greater resilience.

  • This is a common question, and the simple answer is: it depends. The amount of recovery you can do is influenced by your schedule, activity level, stress, and overall health.

We recommend our memberships, which offer unlimited access to recovery tools, allowing you to take full advantage of the benefits and prioritise recovery at any time. However, as with any health-related decision, it’s always best to consult with a healthcare professional to ensure you're recovering in the most effective and safe way for your body.

  • At Thrve Centr, our facilities are available to individuals aged 14 and over.

For those aged 14–18, a parent or guardian must accompany them during their visit, or written approval and consent must be provided. On the first visit, a liability waiver will need to be signed by a parent or guardian.

Additionally, all memberships for minors require signed parental consent, which should be sent to thrvecentr@gmail.com before activation.

  • There’s no strict order you must follow when using the equipment at Thrve Centr—you can customise your recovery routine to suit your needs. However, we do have a couple of entry requirements for some of our protocols:

    • Compression boots should be used before entering the sauna or ice bath areas.

    • All clients must shower before using the spas.

    • A towel must be used in the saunas.

    • Clients must be dry before using Compression Therapy.

Feel free to ask our friendly staff for recommendations on the best order to follow based on your specific recovery goals.
